Loud Gurgling Sounds From Stomach, Acid Reflux. Prescribed Nexium. Will Tisane De Bourbon Help?
Hi for the eight months I have been suffering with constant gurgling sounds in my tummy and sometimes its pretty loud.... My doctor told me that its acid reflux and he prescribed nexium 40mg and domperidon( motilium 10mg)....I haven t started the treatment just yet. I am also thinking of trying tisane de bourbon. Please advise
Tisane de burbon might be helpful however I suggest you to focus on medicines advised by your doctor. Your symptoms can be caused by acid reflux disease indeed. Gurgling can be also caused by increased air swallowing due to loose dentures, chewing gum, eating too fast, drinking carbonated drinks. Chronic intestines infection can also cause increased gas production. As your symptoms might be also caused by other stomach diseases like peptic ulcer, Helicobacter Pylori infection or even stomach cancer. That is why, before any treatment, gastroscopy should be done to rule this conditions out.
In a meanwhile you should avoid fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, soft drinks, coffee. Do not eat before sleeping (last meal should be 2 hours before sleeping).
Hope this will help. Regards.
