Low Blood Pressure, Low Pulse Rate. Is This Emergency?
Hi I notice that my blood pressure is a little low most of the time but not too low to panic me. Last night in bed I felt like my heart was beating a little slow and it felt weak if you get my meaning. So I got up to check my blood pressure. At first the machine came up with an error as it couldn t pick up my pulse properly. Anyway my blood pressure was 94/43 with a pulse rate of 53. Is this anything I should take up with my go. Dint want to waste there time for nothing so thought I would ask you. Thanks Carla x
Hi,digital BP recorder machines are not necessarily accurate.BP of around 90/45 and heart rate of 53bpm is not alarming.Only if you are having symptoms that hinder your daily life style than you need to really worry. My advise to you is that you make time and visit your Physician, just get yourself evaluated and get done with it-so that you don't have doubts lingering in your mind.I am sure most of your tests will be good and within normal limits.Wish you good health and take care
