Low Grade Fever, Burning Pains On And Off In Abdomen, Irritation In Stomach, Prescribed Nexium. Any Ideas ?
I am a 38 yr old female. I have been running a low grade fever 98.9-99.6 for 4 days. I have burning pains on and off in my abdomen. Sometimes they are high upper right and sometimes mid right side. Two years ago I went through this minus the fever. My gall bladder was functioning ant 40%. They found stomach irritation in the endoscopy. They prescribed me nexium. That has worked until the last 4 days. The doctor has prescribed sulcrafate until we can re-run gall bladder and upper gi tests.
Hi, you have mentioned what is going on, but didn't mention what is your doubt. Any how i will assume and answer, what is going on is well, and you are also getting the relief. Uptill your investigations are completed if you get the pain increased , you can either add some other drug or change the drug, with your doctors advise . Thank you.
