Lower Back Pain, Increasing Weight In Stomach, Hip Problem, Joint Pain. Should I Find A Chiropractor?
I am 60yrs old and female. I have had a poor lower back for years because of teaching infants. I have been living in Africa and walking on sand. I returned to UK 3 months ago and done a lot of walking looking for a house to buy. I have been wearing shoes with no spring or cushioning. I have put on weight on my tummy. For the first time ever I am having a lot of hip problems...stiffness and sometimes pain in the joint even when in bed resting. I am generally feeling more joint pain in these last 3 months. I now have excellent shoes. Is this hip problem related to my back or not. Should I find a chiropractor?
Hi, it appears to be due to the osteo orthritis, or rheumatic arthritis, or also may be having some disc problems. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for confirmation of the diagnosis. I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe an injection containing vitamin B1, B6, and B12, combination for 10 consecutive days along with the routine drugs for relief. Thank you.
