Lump In Breast. Ct Scan Showed Hilar And Subcarinal Nodes, Lung Nodular Lesions, Celiac Axis Adenopathy. What Does This Mean?

Hi,
My mother had a lump in her right breast and got it operated.Prior to operation lung CT scan findings were-extensive mediastinal,hilar and subcarnial nodes.Lung nodular lesions,celiac axis adenopathy. post operation Mycobacterium TB,PCR,Mycosure.She is presently taking Isonex and rifampicin tabs for past one week.Now doctor has suggested her to take wysolone 10 mg as well.Is it safe?

Steroids are usually prescribed in severe form of TB and when the pleura or peritoneum is involved. Wysolone is safe to take at that dose mentioned by you. It is usually taken for short periodicals only.
