Lump On Finger, Pins And Needles, Painful. Concerned

About a week ago i felt a lump appear on my middle joint of my right pointing finger. It started with a pins and needles feeling and then minor sharp shoots of pain whenever i had to use that part of my finger. The lump after a couple of days had more or less disappeared and wasnt causing me as much pain until i played racket ball last night. The friction of holding and using the racket gave me some discomfort. The lump is visible today and im concerned to what it is?
Hope you can help.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Any lump can only be diagnosed by examination / often a biopsy is essential.
Pain, disappearance and recurrence – may point to infection or blood clot?
See a general Surgeon / get yourself examined...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
