Hello, I will make this as short as possible. I noticed a bump on my leg late June this year. It was about the size of a lymph node, so I figured I cut myself while shaving and got a little infection. The bump was tender to the touch, but is otherwise unnoticed; doesnt affect mobility. In August it was still there, and at one point had grown to the size of a half dollar. It is now back to the original size, and virtually inexistant. I had it checked out in mid-August, and the doctor suggested it was a lipoma . Lipomas on the leg usually occur on the thigh. I have none on my thigh. He also noticed two more that appeared that weren t there before in June. One was kind of squishy, and another was hard but moveable. Over the past couple months, more and more on my lower legs, and only my lower legs. I have up to 8 now. I can definitely see and feel at least 5 at the moment; all directly over my tibia (shin?) bone. I also noticed that when the bumps started appearing, they had red marks on the prominent parts of the bumps, I am assuming that it was because the skin was being stretched. I could possibly have one by my kneecap now and by the ball of my right ankle. Because of the metastasis , I believe that it is either liposarcomas, osteosarcomas (though I highly doubt), and my main guess is chondrosarcomas. I looked up erythema nodulism, and I know for a fact that I do not have it. Besides the tenderness that comes with erythema nodulism, that is the only thing similar. The bumps are not really painful, just tender, and they have not turned blue or brown. I cannot afford to see a doctor and I do not have health insurance. Would you mind giving me your opinion? Thank you very much.
