MI With Stent, Have Occasional Intense Jaw Pain Causing Difficulty In Talking, Triggers On Drinking Cold Water. Advised Stress Test, No Teeth Issues. What Could This Be?
Have rare, severe jaw pain that hurts so much I can t talk. Goes away after some minutes. Just now I drank some cold water which cause immediate severe pain. I was evaluated at the ER this morning for this. They couldn t determine anything but recommended a stress test ASAP. I have no know teeth issues. I am 92 yr old female with hx of MI with stent 1 yr ago.
HELLO MADAM
Thanks for the concern
your pain triggers by cold water and lasts for few minutes seems to be chances of trigeminal neuralgia, but still more history related to trigger zones and time ,etc are neede to rule out this .its better to consult your dentist for treatment and diagnosis.
Take care
