MRI Shows Polypoidal Mucosal Thickening And Soft Tissues In Mastoid Air Cells? What Does It Mean?
hi, I have recently had a MRI scan of full brain study . The report had said that there are polypoidal mucosal thichening in right maxillary sinus . And also some soft tissue signal intensity in right mastoid air cells? Mastoiditis may be. What does this mean?

It seems like you are having polyp in the maxillary sinus. The soft tissue intensity in the right mastoid air cells seems to be due to infection.
A FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) surgery to remove the polyp will be helpful.
Meanwhile, do steam inhalation twice daily with Karvol Plus for symptomatic relief.
