Medication For UTI, Sore Throat And Swollen Glands
Hi, I have a UTI, temp of 38.9C, a sore throat, swollen glands, sinus pain, sore ears and ache all over. I ve been given a 3day supply of trimethoprim 200mg for the UTI until the GP gets results from the lab. Will this antibiotic help my upper resp issues as well as the UTI? Many thanks,

IN the given situation of Yours, seem to suffer from-2 health issues-existing UTI with accompanied URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection).
Seems while you have runing UTI(urinary tract infection),URTI is additional and seperate infection you got lately.
Or -the UTI(its duration not known)if of long standing could weaken the body defences and thus has lead to URTI additional illness.
Remedy-
Plenty of fluids,
Listerin throat Gargles,
Rest -till fever recovers
Continue trimethoprim-as it would take care of-both URTI and UTI infections.
