Thankyou for your query

You appear to be well-informed about your condition. GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease is the terminology for 'reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus'. Symptoms includes heartburn.

GERD is effectively treated with proton-pump inhibitors. You can take Pantoprazole/Omeprazole/Rabeprazole before meals for your symptoms. Other measures that will help include: Sleeping with the head-end of the bed raised, avoiding wearing corsets.
