Met Car Accident, Have Pain All Down Left Side From Neck To The End Of Fingers. Would This Be Caused By Muscles?

I was in a car accident a year ago and just had nerve testing but my nureosurgen is not sending me for mri and I think I should have one I have pain all down my left side from my neck to the end of my fingers . Do u think this would be caused by muscles or something else.

first you have to consult your neurosurgeon.if any pathology is not there take proper rest, used thin pillow take hot water fomentation and also do gentle exercise of neck and shoulder.do not allow jerky movements and also avoid heavy weight lifting.
