Metallic Taste In Mouth, Foamy Urine, Dizziness, Back Pain, Weight Loss, Appetite Loss. Normal Blood Test
I am Ighodalo. Doc, I noticed a metallic taste in my mouth & my urine is a little foamy. I also experience dizziness if I concentrate intensely on any thing & left sie back pain. I've lost 5kg in 2yrs & also lost appetite for food except fruits? Each time I do a blood test the result is awalys normal. Please what's wrong with me
Metallic taste in the mouth is generally associated to gastroesophagal reflux disease. It would therefore be very interesting to know whether you have any history of acid reflux or gatsritis. Other diseases like liver and biliary diseases could also be implicated under certain circumstances.
Foamy urine could either be pathological or normal. It is however prudent to exclude the presence of proteins in the urine which can make the urine foamy. Kidney disease, A urinary tract infection, fistula, diabetes, rapid urination and soap in the recipient could explain foam in some circumstances.
I suggest you visit family physician for examination and proper testing. It is also possible to have normally functioning kidneys with some foam in some cases. but a disease with the kidneys should systematically be excluded first.
Thanks and kind regards,
Bain LE, MD.
