Migraines, Tingling, Face Left Side Swollen, Left Eye Red, Droopy, Minor Speech Problems, Dizziness. On Amiltriptyline, Maxalt. Advise?

I suffer from Migraines, and am on Amyltriptolene and Max Alt. For the last 3-4 weeks I have had one everyday. I do not have the vision side effects. The left side of my face has been tingling, the left side of my head is swollen and more sensitive than my right, my left eye is red and droopy. I have had some minor speech problems and I am very dizzy. Could this just be I need an increase in my medications? Or something more serious?

Hi,
You have migraine and on prophylactic medicines. The symptoms you mentioned left eye is swollen and droopy and speech problems does not go with migraine .

Need to rule out structural lesion of brain. You should visit neurologist for clinical examination and require MRI brain to rule out ischemic changes in brain

Hope this will help you
