Mild PHA In ECG, High Blood Pressure, No Chest Pain Or Fatigue. Normal Symptoms?

Hi Doctor, My mother is 60 year old, and on an ECG recently done, the reports says about mild PHA. She is suffering from high blood pressure and on medication for the same. I want to know whether it is normal or not. Also she dont feel chest pain , or fatigue or her daily work.she feels tiredness after steeping up stairs 2 floor , but I think that it is due to her old afe, please advice.

Hello Deepak
Alone ECG report can not guide us to any diagnosis. If you have to clear the picture about PHA, you have to go for Echocardiography. In which the actual pressure can be measured and decision can be taken whether needs medication or not. Feel free to consult your cardiologist and discuss it with him.

If you are worried for Coronary artery disease than go for stress test (commonly known as TMT). And if needed may go for Coronary Angiography.
