Mild Pain In Neck, Voice Graspy, Feeling Of Losing Voice. Have Bilateral Thyroid Nodules. Is It Causing Pain?

I have had mild pain in my neck region and my voice gets graspy at times where it sounds like I am losing my voice. I just came across a radiology report from 2 1/2 years ago that states I have bilateral thyroid nodules....the MD that ordered this did not communicate this to me at all. Would this be the cause and how serious is this?

Hi,

Thyroid nodules needs to be evaluated for its nature as early as possible. If you have increase in size of nodule better to get histological study done to rule out malignancy. Consult ENT surgeon to get direct laryngoscopy done for vocal cord movements.
