Miscarried During Early Pregnancy. Blood Work Shows Ectopic Pregnancy. Is It Possible?
I was 5 and a half weeks pregnant, and had a miscarriage on thursday. I went to ER. nothing showed up on ultrasound, and hcg was 112. I miscarried afterwards. had pain, knew what to look for as its not the first time. I am now not in pain at all, but when I got bloodwork done on Monday its showing hcg at 124. They are saying its ectopic, but I know I miscarried, and I'm not in pain. Is it still possible?
Hi, Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. If the HCG is not doubling after 48hrs then we think of failed pregnancy or ectopic. At 124 hcg level its difficult to see any ultrasound findings. Kindly follwup with repeat beta HCG after 1 week and a scan, hope that might help you out. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups. If you like my answers kindly rate it, and write a review as well. Please do not forget to accept it. Thank you, Wish you good health.
