Missed Abortions, Ptt Levels High. Thyroid, Hormonal Profiles Normal. Folic Acid Ecosprin Suggested. Advise?

Hi doctor. Am anita 28, i have got married on feb2013. During this period i had two missed abortions. My thyroid & hormonal profiles are normal. Three months back i diognosed that my pt ptt levels are high. My doc suggest me folic acid ecisprine75mg. Since three months i have been on medication. This month my folicular study done on day 10, 12,14ec&ecosprin75mg

Dear Anita ,

I can well understand your concern. Looking into your history 2 Spontaneous abortions are significant . Since you say that your hormonal and thyroid profile is normal I feel a strong suspicion for connective tissue disorder leading to increased PT levels.
I need to know if you have any history of joint pains , photosensitivity , oral ulceration , loss of weight , fatigue, rash on face or other body parts, myalgias etc. See your problem needs thorough evaluation and should not be taken lightly. Reason behind deranged coagulation profile needs to be found out immediately.
I advise you to consult a hematologist for that and in case you have any of the history that i asked for kindly get back to me so that i can guide you accordingly.
