Missed Period. Had Malaria, Treated On Empty Stomach. Had Sex. Pregnancy Chances?
Hi, Please my last menstral period was on the 16th of April and i havent seen my menstral cycle for this month. what may be the cause though i treated malaria on an empty stomach lastweek.
secondly i started my last menstral period on the 16th of April and finished on the 21st of April, and i had sex on the 25th of April, is there any possibility of pregnancy?

If you have been having 28-30 day cycles prior to this, you were in the safe period when you had the intercourse and as such, the chances of pregnancy are less. Any drastic change in the body like sudden weight disturbance, stress, infection and trauma can cause a delayed period. You can test for pregnancy with a fresh early morning sample of urine and go for a trans-vaginal sonogram for better confirmation. Good luck.
