Missed Periods. Diagnosed With PCOS. Done Laprascopy. Taken Metformin And Ovacare. Can Amenova Be Taken?

Hi, I have missed by periods for two months now. I was already diagnosed for PCOS and also done laproscopy 4 months back, i took metformin and ovacare ,But I stopped taking these medicines, and I did a UPT test and came out to be negative. yesterday i took tvs , 1.2 corpus leutem in left ovary and endometrium thickness is 12mm .One doctor prescribed me to take amenova 5mg pills. Can i take it?. because i am very doubt am i pregnant or not?I have been feeling very tired .

Hi,
If you are suspecting pregnancy, it is wise not to take norethisterone. Instead, you can get a serum beta-hCG titre to confirm/exclude pregnancy. As you have already excluded the possibility of pregnancy through the sonogram, it is more likely that the PCOD is the cause of the delayed cycles. You should contact a specialist for a proper appraisal of the situation. Also, please try to maintain a healthy BMI and do some regular daily exercise. Hope this helps. Take care.
