Missed Periods, Fecal Matter On Urination. Did Miscarriage Occur?

A friend of mine thinks she had about 2 months ago a miscarriage . She was 6 weeks late on here period and felt a little bit strange. Also by urinating she saw something strange in the toilets and if you search on google at fetus pictures she says it looks like the thing in the toilet so she thinks it might be a fetus. My question is if there is to check (via internal examination or something similar) if she indeed had a miscarriage.

Hello,
It is difficult to say at this stage whether she had a miscarriage except for some faint hints like the state of the cervix and so on. Had it been at the time of the incident, blood tests for the serum beta-hCG titres would have definitely revealed if she was pregnant. Even after a miscarriage the hormone levels do exist for some time before dropping down and thus give conclusive evidence on pregnancy. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
