Missed Periods, Pregnancy Tests Negative. On Microgynon Pill. What Does It Mean ?

Hi there

My husband and I last had sex at the end of February ... My March period was fine, April didn't arrive and May arrived but incredibly light, not even a day.

I'm 35, always been regular, Am on the microgynon pill. 8 negative pregnancy tests done over the last month ... Had a prolactin blood test, normal . My doctor won't do a blood test for pregnancy as she said she doubts that I am. I have no other symptons over than a missed period but can't help worrying as I don't want to be pregnant

A blood pregnancy test would confirm you are not pregnant.
However, 8 negative pregnancy tests also should reassure you of the same.
It is common while on the pill to miss a period.
Stress, anxiety, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries, endometrial hyperplasia, travelling, weight gain or loss, - all can cause a missed period.
Have a gynecological evaluation.
