Missed Taking Birth Control Pills. Suffered Gastritis. Severe Stomach Pain, Cold Sweats. Worried About Cancer

hi im 26 years old, on birth control, i was recently in the hospital with gastritis an on tablets for it, i missed one the other day and yesterday sarted feeling sever stomach pains and sick with cold sweats, still not feeling great today, would it be gastritis or something else, im worried it could be alot more serious afetr googling my symptoms, it came up with heart attack, cancer etc. please help.

Hello,
It looks that your pain abdomen is due to gastritis only,as your stomach inflammation would be still persisting.
Severe pain in abdomen can cause cold sweats and there is nothing abnormal in it.
Forget thinking on lines of cancer or heart attack.
Along with regular medications for your gastritis,make sure that you take care in what you eat.Avoid alcohol,smoking,spicy and greasy foods for atleast 6 weeks.
You shall be all right soon.
Failure in resolution of your symptoms would require a consultation with gastroenterologist and a possible gastroscopy with biopsy for H.Pylori.
