Missing Period. Had IUD, Negative Pregnancy Test Results. Advise?
Hi. My name is Wendy. I am terrified right now and do not know where else to turn. I am 25 and my son will soon be 2. I have an IUD and I have had it since he was six months old. I have missed my period, I didn't have it the whole month of April and I am having itching also, I have started taking baths l, least one a day. I took a pregnancy test at home, but it was negative. Please help me
I understand your concern. However, you may not be pregnant if you just had a missed period. To allay your anxiety I recommend that you take the urine pregnancy test again after one week of your last test. This way you will find out if you are pregnant. If you are not pregnant, it may be helpful to get an ultrasound scan to find out if have any other issue with your gynecological examination. Please consult a gynecologist. I hope this helps.
