Missing Periods. HPT Negative. Brownish Spotting. Need To Test Again?
I have been having normal cycles all this year. I had my last cycle on March 13-17, and had sex on March 19. My next expected cycle was supposed to be April 10 or 13, but I didn't see anything. I took a HPT on April14, but it said negative. Today, April 16 I seen some mucosy briqht red discharge in my toilet andwhen I wiped I seen a little bright red, what does that mean? Do I need to test again later?
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As your periods are regular and you had intercourse during the safe period there is less chance for pregnancy.
The delay in periods could be due to many causes like hormonal imbalance, Poly cystic ovary disease, dietary changes, recent illness, thyroid abnormalities etc.
The spotting you had could be scanty flow representing the periods.
You once consult gynecologist and get examined to find out the possible cause and take treatment accordingly.
