Missing Periods. HPT Negative. Feeling Bloated And Pelvic Cramps. Ovarian Cyst Or Perimenopause?
42 years old , regular cycle of approx 30 days now on Day 43 but no period. Early response HPT showed up negative twice. Getting mild pelvic cramps, bloated stomach , heaviness in breasts but no pain or discharge, on and off fluttering movement in stomach, lower back mild pain, no nausea , appetite normal . Had protected intercourse few weeks back mid cycle. Could it be ovarian cyst or peri menopause ?
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Sometimes in perimeopausal age group irregularity in periods can be seen due to hormonal imbalance.
Though the symptoms you mentioned could be more possibly due to hormonal effect.
Anyhow better to consult gynecologist once, to get examined and go for ultrasound once to detect the possible cause for your problem. Ultrasound can rule out any possibility of ovarian cyst.
After that with your doctor's advice you can go for tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
Take care.
