Hi,
To test for pregnancy, you need to wait for 3-7 days after the missed period and perform the test with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Else, you can go for the blood test to know the serum beta-hCG values and these are confirmatory. You may also get a trans-vaginal sonogram for further confirmation and see a specialist for further advice. By now, you may have known it for sure, I suppose. Take care.
