I tried pregnancy test kit on 28th , but result was negative . Even till today I have not got my periods . I feel I am pregnat . When can I get a confirmed result through kit .. when should I visit my Gynaec . Is Preg test kit reliable ? or should I go for blood test .. please guide me ...
Home pregnancy test gives positive result around 96-99% after 7 days of missed period or due date. Blood test for beta-HCG is more reliable than pregnancy kit test.
For 100% confirmation, pelvic USG scan is advisable. Though there are some other reasons of late period like hormonal imbalance, stress, irregular diet habit, over weight or rapid loss etc.
Consult with your gynecologist for relevant investigation and take suggestive measures.
All the best.
