Mood Swings And Dizziness. On Lisinapril, Methotrexate, Folic Acid, 900 Mg Gabapentin, And Prednisone. Medication Side Effects?
Im a female, 43, last week diagnosed with RA and fibromyalgia. Just started taking lisinapril, methotrexate, folic acid, 900 mg gabapentin, and prednisone. I am experiencing major mood swings dizziness and blood pressure ranging from 101/64 - 105/69 pulse ranges from 91/112, is this normal and which drug is causing it.
You have been prescribed methotrexate, lisinopril, predenisolone, gabapentin and folate. Just recently you have started having major mood swings, dizziness and other symptoms. Although the drugs you are taking are comparatively safe drugs but they are known to cause psychotic features. Steroid induced mood swings are common. If your symptoms are really intolerable then I would advise you to consult your doctor regarding dose adjustments. If symptoms persist even after reducing dose then consult a Psychiatrist.
Thanks
