Have dry mouth and throat too started 10th day. Have intermittent diarrhea and feel nausea after breakfast with empty stomache. No other symptom, e.g. fever, sore throat.
Certain other information would be more useful to arrive at your problem.
You had mentioned about protected sex. Was there any unprotected oral sex happened with you recently? What is you age? Do you have any other health problems like Diabetes?
Your symptoms seem to be due an infection of parotid Glands (Salivary secreting glands in side your buccal cavity). It may either be due to a sexually transmitted organism or may not be related to your sexual encounter. It may be due to a viral disease or due to m,umps. Diarrhea and the feeling of nausea may be related to the parotid infection. Earliest manifestations of HIV can occur only after 3-4 weeks of infection, if there is anything. Consult your physician, he will help you for further management. Get well soon. Dr S.Murugan
