Mucus Discharge, Pain In Vagina. Sexually Active. Is This Due To Friction Or UTI?
I've got a mucus discharge, along with a general pain in my vaginal area. Yesterday I was very sexually active and I am wondering if it could simply be a result of the friction, or whether it is more likely to be a UTI, as this is accompanied by a slight burning during urination. The burning however, has subsided greatly throughout today, so I am unsure what to make of it.
Hi dear, slight amount of mucoid discharge is normal in females but if associated with burning sensation than it may be a sign of vaginal infection. Also, UTI is associated wit frequency or urgency of micturition. Other cause of it may just be due to friction from vigorous sexual activity and this subsides slowly throughout day No need to worry. Get a urine test and an examination done from your gynae if it continue to be disturbing
