Mucus In The Stool. Have Constipation, Severe Cramps. Is This A Serious Issue?
Ok so I m 36 weeks pregnant and I ve been constipated for a couple of days now..and when trying to go to th restroom I have this mucus looking stuff coming out instead of stool . Also I ve been having major cramps . Almost to the point I though I was in labor. Now earlier when I went to the restroom one small piece of poop came out but when I wiped there was a huge blob of yelloish tinted mucus? Anything serious ?
hi there, you need to go to the ER and get checked that you are not in labour already and what you wiped is not show. Your constipation also needs to be relieved, either by using oral laxative or by taking an enema.Constipation is a common complain in the third trimester of pregnancy as the gravid uterus presses on the rectum and you are not able to evacuate your bowel. Get your self checked and if everything is fine you can take mild laxative routinely till you deliver. Take care.
