Muscle Cramps After Drinking Energy Drinks
I get muscle cramps all the time when I drink energy drinks stiff neck you name it. Just was wondering if there were any studies on this and if it really is the energy drink that causes it

The energy drinks sometimes have caffeine. These can have diuretic effect - increased urine. This diuresis can sometimes cause minor electrolyte imbalances in your blood causing these muscle cramps.
Having fruit juices rather than energy drinks can avoid such cramps, because they have minerals, glucose also which are instant energizers.
Adequate hydration also helps avoiding such cramps.
