My 88 Year Old Mother Has Been Experiencing Pain In
My 88 year old mother has been experiencing pain in the left side, radiating to the back, for several months. We have done all the normal screening for ribs, heart, etc.
My question is this:
She had a severe case of shingles 25 years ago. Her worse area of shingles breakout was in that same area, left side and around to her back. Could residual nerve damage flare up this much later and cause this pain?
