My Child Is Around 7 Years Old. For The Past 3 Days , She Is Suffering From Diarrhea, Headache, Body Pain And Light Fever
My child is around 7 years old. For the past 3 days , she is suffering from diarrhea , headache , body pain and light fever . When I checked with doctor , it seems like symptoms of typhoid. Can it be a Typhoid, if it is so what is the diet to be maintained and can she take a solid food like milk rice or curd rice. Please advice me.

There many causes of Gastroenteritis--Viral, bacteria, parasitic and infections. Viruses are the very common cause of Gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis presents with diarrhea but sometimes headache and fever, body aches may be present.
You can do the Widal test, blood culture, stool for ova and parasites to know what the cause of diarrhea is.
Electrolyte replacement antibiotics and anti parasitic treatment will treat the disease.

it may be typhoid but in this case it seems more likely a gastrointestinal infection caused by virus or bacteria. give ofloxacin & ornidazole combination, pre & pro biotic combination, tab paracetamol half tab when fever of body pain, give who ORS.

intyphoid u can give liquid or semisolid diet to ur child.
