Hi, My daughter who is 11 has had severe constipation which has led to soiling since she was approximately 3. We have trie several times to clear her out with movical and then keep her on a maintenance dose. This has seemed to work but then not and I think it may be something I am doing. Latest is Dr has put her on high dose to rid impaction and then im to reduce to a maintenance dose She has been on high dose for 5 days now and we are much softer (dioarhea) but Im not sure if that means she is empty and I ahve to lower her doses and by how much. Could you please give some advise on the use of movicol.desperately seeking help as she is also of an age where she will begin menstruation and i would hate for her to have to deal with both issues at once.
