My Pulse Rate Is 36 BPM?

I m not SUPER athletic, I ride my bike like once a week. I know athletes have low BPM but I don t consider myself a athelete. Should I be concerned with a pulse that low? What could it be?

I am 28 yrs old and my pulse rate is 36, I have been going through low BP lately and heart disease runs in my family, my Dr is concerned and does not know what else to do with me. I also have hypo-thyroid
