My tonsills are big purple and making it hard to breath what is this called? I am 31 and I have had these problems with my throat as long as i can remember. Should i have them removed?

The way you are putting up the symptoms it can be tonsilitis or adenoids. If they are obstructing deglutition or breathing a lot it calls for surgery. But if these problems are marginal then you must try herbal medicines that offer good cure.

Hi,

You are having chronic tonsillitis, if it is causing you problems you can definitely get it removed as the function of this has got over long back. Till then drink plenty of warm water.
