My Tube Has Been Removed And I Am Having A History Of Hydrosalpinx. Will It Bring Any Complications During Surgery?

Hi i m having history of hydrosalpinx i m 40 weeks pregnant about to overdue..my doc said i hv to undergo induction n might go for c-section..my concern is will my history of hydrosalpinx n one removed tube is going to bring any complications in surgery or harm my baby?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

The problem with your fallopian tube is NOT an issue at this point in your pregnancy. In a low-risk pregnancy, the first indication for needing to be induced is reaching 41 weeks. Any time you are being induced, the risk for C-section is slightly increased, but this is related to the "favorability" of your cervix for inducing. If you need a C-section, the tube should not be an issue.
