Nausea, Abdominal Pain, Bloating Spasms. Had CT Scan. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me Read It?

symptoms: nausa, right- sided abdominal pain upper and lower quardrant. Bloating spasms in front and back.,weak legs. No gallbladder .Had a SCAT scan with contrast. Showed that my colon was full off stool from top to rectum. told to take magnesiun citrate(one bottle) then Miralax daily. Had bowel movements evey day prior to test. Suprised to learn of test showed constipation. Has been one week sice starting routine. See no decline of symptoms. Have been DX with IBS, some years ago. Would the cat scan have shown if my bowels were twisted?

Hi,
Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
The pain could be due to constipation with impaction of stool in the colon.
This leads to severe spasms of colon which will cause severe pain in the abdomen.
Continue the laxatives as advised by the doctor.
Take plenty of water.
Make a habit of going to toilet daily.
CT scan will find out if your bowel is twisted.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards.
