Nausea, Indigestion, Sinus Infection, Discomfort, Acid Reflux. What Is The Reason?

Hello, my name is Kyle I am a 21 year old male. I have a quick question for you. For the past couple weeks I have been feeling this slight discomfort in my stomach. It usually comes after I eat but it's never intense or anything, just a slight discomfort. I never feel like I have to throw up or anything and it's not really even nausea, just a discomfort is the best way to describe it. I was thinking it could be acid re-flux or just indigestion. I don't have any other symptoms besides the discomfort. I don't have blood any where it shouldn't be and there is no pain any where else. No fatigue no nothing. Only other thing I've been experiencing is a on off sinus infection for about a month. If you could maybe get an idea from what I told you that would be great, just something to calm my nerves!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that your symptoms are related to gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD).
GERD can be associated with a myriad of symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, burning sensation in the chest and upper abdomen, nausea, acid taste in the mouth, excess salivation, cough, bloating.

You can try altering your diet to see if it helps. This would involve reducing the use of fried/fatty/spicy/ acidic foods and using small meals.

If there is any excess weight, weight loss will help to reduce the pressure on the stomach.

If there is no relief with these lifestyle changes then medication can be used.

I hope this helps
