Nausea, Vomiting, Black Tar Diarrhea. Abdominal X Ray, Stool And Urine Test Done. Is It A Virus Or An Internal Bleeding?

We have just spent the entire day in the emergency room with my husband who has had nausea, vomiting, and black tar diarrhea for about a week now. They took an abdomen x ray, took a stool and urine sample and did blood work and told us it must be a virus and sent us home. He is still in pain and still having diarrhea. They sent us home with anti nausea medicine but nothing for the diarrhea. Could it be an internal bleed? Do I take him somewhere else?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM, Just take it easy, if it is viral diarrhea, then it requires no treatment it takes 5 to 7 days for complete cure, blood stain stool could be due to inflammatory changes of intestine lumen, causing tiny ulcers and blood oozes from these, these also heals very well, no need to take him any where else. have nice day.
