Nearly Passed Out In The Bathroom, Severe Stomach Pain, Vision Blurred. Did Ingest Suboxone. What Happened ?

I just recovered from nearly passing out in the bathroom. I was sitting on the toilet when I began to have severe stomach pain and my vision began to blur. Everything became very bright and I was feeling very disoriented. I had to lay down and drink water till it settled. Its never happened before and was quite scary. I'm a fairly healthy 28 yr old male. However, lately, my diet has been poor and tonight I had a glass of red wine, one dark beer and some coffee. I ate mainly fruit, nuts and a sandwich. Also, I did ingest a small amount of the prescription Suboxone. About .005 mg of a sublingual tab to be exact. As of the moment, my head still feels pretty sensitive. Please help.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

It is very difficult to say whether the episode described by you was due to Suboxone or a vaso-vagal attack which can happen at times of distress like the stomach ache. I would suggest that you should refrain from having Suboxone or any medication to which you are dependant. In case the stomach ache recurs than it needs to be investigated and managed accordingly.
