Neck And Back Pain, Neck Starting To Curve, Knot Below The Neck. What Should I Do?

My neck and back hurt horribly, I have to lay on the bed and have my husband pop my back daily. I went to a chiro and they said my neck is straight and starting to curve the wrong way. I feel alot of tension in my neck and have a knot just below my neck at the top of my spine . I do not have insurance and I am trying to just find some relief for now, what can i do to help this situation?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The neck and back pain you are having could be related to a muscle spasm, wrong body posture, spondylosis or degenerative disease. An MRI of spine will help in diagnosis. Taking muscle relaxants in combination with pain killers will help in reducing the pain.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
