Neck Pain After A Coughing Fit One Night Which Hurts While Turning
I have had a cold for a week and a half. I had a coughing fit one night and a few minutes after my neck hurts. I have been taking ibuprofen for the pain but I don't know what else I can do to help the pain. It hurts to turn my head and put my head back.

from history it seems that due to severe cough bout there might be pull or muscle strain to neck muscles giving rise this problem.
Take muscle relaxant medicine along with analgesic.
apply muscle relaxant cream locally.
Ok and take care.
