Neck Pain Radiating To Shoulder, Popping When Turning Neck. Have Arthritis. How To Manage Pain?
I have neck pain that radiates to my shoulder, just the right side. when I turn my neck it not just pops but actually feels like I have popped something out of place, its hard to explain the feeling and sound I hear, more like clunking noise, I feel like anyone around me can hear it. If I just turn my head from side to side it causes pain, or tilting my head down. I have been told I have arthritis, I have several injuries, like falling or tripping. Is there something I can do to manage this pain?
hi, it looks like you have problem with cervical spine. it can be degeneration, or slip disc. you can start on NSAIDs like mortin (ibuprofen). but it is better to see your doctor before that as you have told arthritis, so cause for this problem has to be identified and many antibody tests has to be done (AS,RA, etc)
wish you good health
