Need Advice On Diagnosis In A Post Menopausal Women.

Hello

It seems after I lift heavy loads or do strenuous work, I may have slight cramping, or slight discharge, and 1 time spotting. I am post menopausal. My GYN ordered a series of tests which have been normal - I had 2 paps - normal, CA125 - normal; vaginal ultrasound 2.5 mm thickness , and no abnormalities found. Can you advise me further?

Hi,

I think that this condition of your can be due to doing heavy work which is causing this bleeding, I would advise a blood coagulation test like bleeding time, clotting time and PT, APTT, INR and platelets. To reduce bleeding start tranaxemic acids tablet 500 mg for 5 days, lifestyle modification by doing less heavy work can be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
