Need Analysis Of My Ultrasound Report

My ultrasound report shows, an oval shaped area of calcification measuring 29*22*12.9 mm within the myometrium of the uterus antero-superiorly.
The right ovary shows multiple peripherally placed follicles within. The right ovary measures 25.4*19.8 mm , while the left ovary shows the follicular cyst measuring 20.9*20 mm.
Conclusion: 1. PCOD ?
2. Uterine Calcification ?
Advise: TVS Correlation

Hello
Thanks for writing to us

According to reports you have features of polycystic ovarian disease(PCOD) in right ovary.Left ovary appears normal.
It is suggested by enlarged right ovary and multiple small follicles arranged at periphery .
PCOD should be confirmed by clinical correlation and biochemical markers like hormonal assay for PCOD.
PCOD is a curable disease and mostly it is treated by medicines.Surgical intervention is required in very few cases.

There is a calcified lesion measuring 29 X 22 X 12.9 mm in the uterus.Calcification in uterus may be due to many reasons. It is a benign finding and doesn't require any treatment.

Hope i have answered your query.
Take Care
