Need Information About Test For Osteoporosis
Hi I m Jane and my MD ordered a bone density test which I know shows about osteoporosis. I was wondering if it could diagnose anything else and how it was performed. Also, my rheumatologist orderd a complete bone scan. I know they inject a dye. I was wondering what this test could show. And how long the tests take.

bone density can be identifying from single bone like calcanium or whole body . but the whole body is the best mainly it represent your spine and pelvis that is the primary structures to be evaluated . its basically whole body xyaing with low energy beams its not harmful
