Need Medication For Cough,fever & Stomach Pain

My 8 year old daughter has had a fever plus mild cough and complaining of her stomach hurting for 2 days.She is not vommitting and she is drinking fluids but refuses to eat.I have been giving her tylenol and Motrin and it is not working at all..Please tell me what to do.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Fever and cough could be caused by a viral illness, in which which case it will resolve on it's own after a few days. All that is needed is fluids, rest, and a fever reducer like acetaminophen. However, it could also be bacterial, like pneumonia. In this case, antibiotic is typically needed. I recommend you consult with your doctor so the correct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
